Syriana review
Syriana is a movie about oil and money with a twist of corruption in America. This movie is geared towards a more mature audience with much attention paid to a complex storyline. The movie indulges the mind with a series of little stories wrapped around a much larger, more intriging plot. The movie also deals with the U.S. government and shows the side the media can never quite cover correctly. This movie is diffidently a must see movie for all those who are interested in the corrupt system that we call oil..
harry potter review
After the Sourcers Stone was released and did so well at the box offices, there are not high hopes for The Chamber of Secrets. Ever sence the release of Sourcers Stone, Harry Potter has become more mature looking, giving the movie higher hopes to attract an older audience. The movie is suppose to be more intense than the prequal, gearing towards a teenage audience. This movement to attract a different audience has raised expectations of the3 movie very much. Everyone who is interested in Harry Potter will deffidently love the new movie coming out.

analyzing on turning ten
I feel as if collin is trying to show how much people truely change as they grow up. He did this by telling the people about the different things he wanted to be as he grew up. For example, when he was four, he wanted to be a wizzard and by the age of seven, he wanted to be a soldier. I think that he captures the true undecisiveness of childhood. This poem is effective due to the examples used. I think this fits into my childhood perfectly because my mind changed all the time during childhood.

Definition essay questions
1. I think there were many fresh ideas in this essay. I thought that the extended definition is a good way to really explain what a word really means.
2. I didnt actually understand what allusions meant in this essay. Sorry.
3. I thought the author did a fantastic job at dividing the topics of what a Yankee is and what a Yankee is not. i felt he balanaced these two very well and I now understand what the definition of a "Yankee" is.
4."To most Americans, though, the word Yankee means either the pin-striped New York baseball team or the Northern forces in the American Civil War, the soldiers from north of the Mason-Dixon Line. In time, though, the idea that the word Yankee suggests has shrunk geographically until it is on the verge of extinction"
My spring break was filled with adventure, unfortuantly, i don't have the time in this class to tell you about any of them. Just know I had fun-filled spring break!

Modest proposal.
1. I think the thesis in this essay is, the government needs to really put their minds together and figure out what they can do to solve the problems in their country. I can't think of any other logical thesis's that would make sense for this essay.
2.The number of souls in this kingdom being usually reckoned one million and a half, of these I calculate there may be about two hundred thousand couple whose wives are breeders; from which number I subtract thirty thousand couples who are able to maintain their own children.
3. I figured out where this essay was going after paragraph six where the author called the women "breeders".
4. I think that this essay was attacking England for continuing to take recources and ect. for Ireland and the irish for not doing anything to help theirselves.
5. I didn't read any real proposals for solving the issue's in Ireland in the essay. I also think that the essay was partly satirical but also an attack at the isish for not doing something about their situation and letting it escalade to the point it has.
6. I think this last paragraph was showing the audience that he didn't really want to suggest what he did, but he did it for the sake of his homeland. When the author said "I have no children by which I can propose to get a single penny; the youngest being nine years old, and my wife past child-bearing. The End" I think he stated that to show that it's easy to suggest such a crazy way to solve issues when you don't get hit by the consiquences.
7. In this essay i did not spot any other ways to convince the audience that his idea was the best. I have participated in many jobs involving labor but i didn't resisit any of their demand for me because they were all reasonable. I think the agrier you are, the likely you are to resist an idea or purposal.
8. I would be the worst baby marketer because i would be laughing about how dumb the idea was the whole time while marketing. But if i had to, i wold deffidently give the baby meat a french name, they sound fancy. And of course baby meat would be processed to the point of being unreconizable. pork doesn't look like pig , does it?

I want a wife.
1. This essay has a very explicitly stated thesis. The thesis is stating the reasons why she would like to have a wife while poking fun at home much husbands expect their wife's to do.
2. When Brady repeats "I want a wife" in her essay, I really start to understand how women are treated by men in some marrages. I think the hypocracy shown in this essay is very true.
3. I don't think Brady would like a wife like this because Brady know's the way the wife would be treateed is unfair. I do think the ideal spouse exist somewhere in the world. I think Brady wrote this essay to mock the hyppocracy shown by men when trying to find the "perfect" wife.
4. Brady defines a "wife" as a slave by having them do whatever the husband tells them. Brady organizes all the services a wife provides in order of when they're needed by the husband. The the characterization of Brady's opinion of what a wife should be is spot on. I feel that men actually do expect all these things from their spouse. I think Brady wants the audience to respond in an appalled manner due to how much a wife does for their spouse.
5. Dear ms. Brady,
I really admire how you explained the unjust way wifes are treated. I think you did an amazing job describing and depicting every single little detail involved about the standards wifes have to live up to. You also do a good job at showing how quickly some men move on after they get tierd of their current wife. You made me feel like such a hypocrite just being a man, so I think you did an amazing job pursueding your audience.Thank you for exposing the hypocracy women face during marrage.
